Gamma Ray Logging

Our gamma ray tools measure natural gamma radiation emitted from formations, providing essential data for lithology identification and geo-correlation. This economical, industry-standard method is fully compatible with all Alberta Global Industries MWD systems.

Focused Gamma Logging

Focused gamma sensors feature a 90° window to detect directional gamma radiation. By reading both upper and lower borehole formations, this tool enables accurate detection of bed boundaries—critical for controlled drilling in horizontal wells and enhanced stratigraphic placement.

PWD – Pressure While Drilling

Our Pressure While Drilling sensors provide vital downhole pressure readings, including annular, bore, and differential pressure, as well as near-bit temperature. Real-time pressure monitoring helps avoid circulation losses, detect early signs of influx or kick, and improve cuttings transport and hole cleaning efficiency.

PR2 – Propagation Resistivity Tool

The PR2 tool delivers 8 resistivity measurements using dual antenna spacings and frequencies, providing both Phase Difference and Attenuation data. It can be seamlessly integrated into our Positive Pulse or EM MWD systems and optionally includes pressure and 3-axis shock monitoring for deeper formation insights.

Azimuthal Gamma & Continuous Inclination

This high-resolution gamma tool offers full 360° imaging using 16 azimuthal segments, providing unmatched clarity for real-time wellbore positioning and geosteering. Paired with continuous inclination measurements, it ensures real-time directional control and reduced dogleg severity during horizontal drilling.

Real-Time Shock & Vibration Monitoring

Our 3-axis DynamX sensor captures real-time shock, vibration, and RPM data from the downhole assembly. This data enables teams to respond proactively to drilling conditions, optimize tool longevity, and maintain drilling efficiency.
